Carebears R us (mining) = OcUK.
PVP when you want it, mining and missions when you dont = Give me a shout.
PVP fulltime = STK (if they'll let you join).

Hmmm... Carebears R us eh? Ever heard of the carebear stare (complete with large amounts of T2 weaponry)?

STK PvP only and elitist? I reckon there are some that may dispute this point but I'll let them retort..

Kinsy, remember, think, type, delete, think, think some more then type...

Gallente and in Isikano at the moment I think. Not had a chance to play in a few days :o

Sounds good. I'm Gallante, and I'm about 27 jumps away from Isikano at the moment, but keep meaning to come up to join the corp :) Just means making multiple trips to move all my ships and crap, and getting some new agents on the go. Massalle's quite nice, got 3 level 2 agents and 3 level 3 agents all in the same station, and my story line agents are only 6 jumps away :)

No wars. We pirate hunt. This sometimes results in wars.

We also help out corps that get wardecs for no reason, from mercs who just want to gank miners. Love giving them a taste of their own medicine.

We will be 'out there' soon.

Dym...Lovely, T2 Guns, shame you don't know how to use them.

Care to explain this Mr Dymetrie?

2 of your members aggressed one of our pilots which resulted in one of your guys and one of ours going pop.

This qualifies you guys for the KoS list automatically unless you can explain.

The OcUK forums are hardly the place for this kind of discussion. Go over to the oc-ps forums and post there. Better yet, eve-mail Dym directly in game.

I think i might join your corp Kinsy cause im leaving ocuk later when the 24 hour waiting period is over.

Some of our members have been going to 0.4 and below and attacking people against the corps wishes lately, if it wasnt for me saying "NO" last night, two of our members would have attacked a pair of CLS members which is bad.

I think its about time Dymetrie had a word with them.

In EVE Online can you get away with playing a small ship for most of the time rather than the large cruisers? I'm a big fan of Firefly now and tempted to start in EVE as a small merchant ship with the challenges it bring's. Do you think this game offers what I want?

You can get a small industrial ship quite fast and become a trader/merchant in your corner of eve. Definately worth a try cause instead of walking around selling swords etc.. like in normal MMO's you fly around space docking at stations and sell ships, guns, trade goods, ammunition etc.... :) You cant actually sell stuff to other people when your undocked. You have to be in a station to trade/sell/buy things, although if you set a sell order on the market it could sell while you are undocked. But a 14 day trial and a bit of starting capital, a fell mill if you can get it donated to you can give you a good taste of Eve's trading system and to see if its your thing.

If you're a firefly fan, which I am, then I think you're best bet would be to avoid industrial ships, and stick with cruisers, as they offer a lot more flexibility, even if they have a smaller cargo capacity. I'm use a Vexor for level 2 missions, mining and trading, an executor for mining and trading, and a Brutix Battlecruiser for level 3 missions, and really fast jetcan mining :), and I've got an industrial ship too, for heavy duty hauling. For fast courier missions, I use a Frigate, which is the next class down from cruisers, or for loot clearing. I've been ingame for 2 months, had no outside assistance apart from advice, so it is easily possible to be self sufficient, if a little frustrating at times.

The nice thing about EvE is that you have almost complete flexibility to fit your ship out as you wish, so one ship can perform multiple roles.
