***The Official HP TouchPad Thread***

Arranged with HP to have UPS courier come to collect my TouchPad with a dodgy USB connection and sent off for warranty service. It was an 0208 number as well! I may look at getting a HP Touchstone as well in the near future too.

If theyre sending out UPS, like they did with mine, then the courier will come with a box and you just have to stick the bare touchpad inside, nothing else.

I had mine packed in bubble wrap then jiffy bagged and then in a box, but it had to go in the box provided, so I left the bubble wrap and jiffy bag on and put it in the box.

Its one of those boxes where you stick the item under the clear plastic and fold the card flaps in the opposite direction to tension the touchpad in place. That cardboard frame then goes into another box.

brilliant thanks I'll just leave the bare touchpad on the side and instruct my dad what to do when the UPS guy arrives.

Stupid question related to the above... But what is the webpage for applying for a warranty repair?

Both the touchpads in our house have cracks in the cases and I should really think about getting them fixed before the warranty runs out!
