You can actually get a 24 month contract which costs £1 less than that.

£15pm contract with 300 minutes, 300 texts and unlimited internet.
One free booster which you can use to get unlimited texts.
£129 for the phone itself.

Overall this comes to £489. Once I cancel my contract with O2 and get the code needed to keep my number I'll be ordering my Desire (hopefully tomorrow!).
 
Yeah i seen that offer also. I'd prefer to have a shorter contract than paying less a month.

I've just went and ordered it all. Hopefully i will have the delivery before Monday :)

I'm on a rolling contract with Orange which i've just cancelled just now and got my PAC code for, which thankfully is valid for 30 days!
 
Naw, i'm waiting till i get the phone. When i get it, i'll call T-Mobile, give them the code, and i believe it'll be transferred within 24 hours.

I've done it before and i think it was done within 2-3 hours!
 
Im sticking with MPD, I pay for my dad's contract, he is on a Voda sim only, and the 25 quid one on there is perfect for him. I have an existing contract I'll be using the Desire on (T-mobile incidentally) and probably sell the Hero I have, which is in mint condition so should get a good price for it!
 
Just checked with T-mobile... Upgrade for me is £50 if I keep my current contract but swap it from 12 month to 18 month.... Think I will as (due to friends/families) I get my PP for £17.50/month with unlimited internet :)

New phone come the weekend I reckon :)

Might just order it off T-Mobile then, but I'm worried about the 3G coverage :/

One question: Are people hoping to get this on the weekend/Monday? It's released Friday isn't it?
 
Yeah I checked those, but it isn't 100% reliable is it :p

Going to order and hope I get it before the weekend, which is highly wishful since it says allow up to 7 days for delivery.. arrgh!
 
If you ordering from mobile phones direct you will only get 1gb usage on the unlmited internet, it says 3gb on T-mobile website but from MPD its only 1 gb.

That makes me want to cancle and re-order via t-mobile :(

Saying that, i've been on vody for 18months which is capped at 500mb and i've never touched that cap, so 1GB is double to what im used to.
