*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

That makes me want to cancle and re-order via t-mobile :(

Saying that, i've been on vody for 18months which is capped at 500mb and i've never touched that cap, so 1GB is double to what im used to.

thats what i thought, but i been looking at a few 'average phone usage' searches, ive only found one person who has gone above 1gb the rest say 200-500mb

someone said 10gb but use thier phone teathered to their laptop

i have to admit, i didnt see that in the small print!

i also found out you dont get charged for going over,, just get 'slowed'

They just stop ur internet untill the next month, there is no charge for going over 1GB.

I don't think i will touch 500mb let alone 1GB so i'm not bothered. My only worry is all of us will be living on Android market place for the first month so might get close to the cap lol

Right I've made my mind up! Going to Order with T-Mobile £15 month for 18 Months

Would rather pay the extra £30 to have the option to end my contract 6 Months early than £10 month over 24 months

At home surely most will use it over wifi so its only really out/work where the 1gb cap will come in personally i think its more than enough.

im keeping the MPD deal i think, the tmobile ones are a lot more expensive and i doubt ill use more than 1gb either

Still no e-mail :(

Is there an app i can install right away to monitor bandwidth so i can keep in the 1GB mark, and is there one to track texts?

Ordered the £129, 18 monthat £20 pm for 300 mins and 300 texts. I didn't think 100 minutes would be enough, and I used topcashback to reduce the overall price by £35.

I am thinking of getting the £10pm deal. The Quidco for T-Mobile Business contracts is £60 vs £20. Is there any major difference going with the Business one? I am a Sole Trader so can legitimately go for either.

ok ordered one as well!
15pm 100min 100txt only after the browsing capabilites.
used TCB to get cashback however not sure what happened here
it clearly says that below 20pm deals you only get a possible £20 back
I'm not complaining really  if it turns out to be £40 back!

Hi,

Yeah there are a load of apps that can monitor your internet, depends if you also want to monitor WiFi data as well (this doesn't count towards your 1GB though). I am not bothered by wifi data so use a program called 3G Watchdog, I think the one that does Wifi as well is called something like NetCounter or NetMonitor.

Not sure about a text counter though sorry. If your with Tmobile you can keep track of them using MyTmobile though.

If you replace the default messaging app with Handcent SMS it has a counter that shows how many you've sent. You can set it to reset to zero on a specific day of the month or do it manually. Works pretty well :)

The app comes with iPhone style chat bubbles by default, but you can change it to look the same as Android default or several other options, plus customise colours, font etc.

Im sure there is a text counter, a friend used one on his Magic, as for the data monitor its called NetCounter, however there are others. I think there's even one that acts as a homescreen widget :D
