I preordered from MPD, was in the process of ordering it from t-mobile direct and apparantley they have no stock left, they sold 1700 on sunday? And new stock will come tues or wednesday.

Guess I'll have to stick with MPD
 
When I login to t mobile I still get the "Order in Progress. Your order is still being processed by our sales team. This won't take too long, so please try again in a couple of hours" message. So I guess it will be a few days yet.
 
Not sure how on earth people have managed to get such good deals from t-mob by phone.

Best they would offer me was 300 mins/text for £20 a month and the phone for £95!

Would i be wasting my time ringing later on?
 
MPD emailed me to say that it would be shipping next Tuesday/Wednesday. I wanted to also clarify that 'Graphite' actually meant the browny/grey one, which it does :)

My last two phones from Orange (a Nokia 'candybar' phone and the Samsung Omnia) weren't, beyond having the Orange modem settings already in memory, though I'm going to hold fire until I can see one in the flesh to confirm.

My last phone from CPW didn't but that's because I didn't want a branded handset. Everyone phone I have had direct from Orange has their branding and rubbish software on.

Now I haven't used smartphones on Orange before, but that being an exclusive I would expect some sort of branding/mods to the formware.
 
Bah humbug. Got my email on Friday that my Desire had been dispatched but it has not turned up. T-Mobile have said it was requested, but by the time my order came to be fulfilled, they had run out of stock. I won't get mine til Thursday now as the next delivery is not due til Wednesday.

Not happy at all :(
