1.15.405.4 ,anybody know what this does before i install it

It is just the latest FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) update released by HTC - Just install it I say.

It will be available on the 20th April and best of all it will be unbranded.

What network are you on? Not showing any updates available on my Desire on T-Mobile.

just checked for update(I thought it'd give a popup message saying that an update was available), it found it so I'm downloading/installing it now(just hope it doesn't screw anything up. got an error message saying that it couldn't backup to sd hope thst doesn't cause an issue).

konicky I seem to remember reading and being told by a 3 staff member that it's unbranded and unlocked(that was for a limited time), so I'd assume it's the same for this. wish I knew about the 3 payg for £349.99 before I bought it from cpw for £399.99, would have missed out on the free wavesecure offer but what the hey. wouldn't suprise me if the stores sell out within minutes.

I have transferred by photo album to the Desire. I had them seperated into folders for organisation on my Pixon e.g. "New York", "Warsaw" etc, but the Desire has put them all together... Any way I can organise them

It's not a standard deal, CPW owe me some cash so I got them to do the Orange PAYG with the cash they owe me offset. Then stuck my iPhone simplicity sim in.

Posting on it now and got to say the browsing experience is better than my iphone.

O2 recycle gave me £206 for my 3G 16GB

Just got mine, was a hard decision between this and the X10 but am glad I made the right choice. Execpt from maybe the camera, but am sure I can live with it for a few year.

In love with it, much much much better than the Omnia I had before.

I used to think my Hero was great but now it seems like a doddery old man compared to the Desire. The Desire is so much smoother and the display is out of this world in comparison. Work mate has an IPhone and I think the Desire looks so much nicer. Best phone I have owned so far, not that I use it much as a phone.
