Turns out I didnt have the latest version even when I told it to update.... Updated and I now have the right click context menu and it all works ok and takes about 5-10 secs max to come down :)

Leedroid is based on Sense and works very well for me. That said I prefer the Launcherpro plus launcher over sense on it's own, but I do like some of the sense stuff particularly with contacts, sms and mail.
 
Heads up if anyone didn't realise.. I only just did

With HTC apps if you scroll with 2 fingers it does by date (email) or first letter (music)

Pretty cool, I only though the little slider that pops up at the right did that
 
Quick question if I may - My desire is buggered, sometimes switching off during a call and going into a reboot loop before it loads to the main screen. I was planning to root it very soon - will this go some way toward fixing the issue or very unlikely? I ask as I hear it takes a while for htc to send a replacement and im so busy atm I could do without the hassle.

Also when I mentioned the issue to HTC, they said it was a software issue and told me to do the hard reset (which changed nothing) - so to root or I need to ask for a replacement?

I had this, turned out to be an app that was causing the problem.

Have you installed any new ones or have any been up-dated before it started rebooting?

Try this ROM , i have been using it for a while now , all HTC Sense included , there are optional mods to install if you want to , and battery life is 2 days on average for me ;)
 
i made the switch from OD 4.0.33 to CM 6.0.2 tonight.

other than having to remake my statusbar and deleting more junk in my adb batch file, oh and running a script for old A2SD i cant say i notice much difference.

think i'll stick with CM for the time being (might aswell use the original) ;)

Just having problems with the SDK software and trying to take screenshots of it. Apparently there's something wrong with my Java path :/
