*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

Thanks for the reply... Wow, at that price I sure hope it does its job! lol, does it apply easily or did you have to get rid of air bubbles?

People should look after their phones then!

I had my HTC Magic before the Desire for 18 months and it looked like brand new when I gave it to its new owner (an OcUK member) ;)

It also had 2 dramatic falls, 1 of which was reconstructed in an off the rails style video with sound effects.

Very easy, no issues with bubbles as it's quite rigid. Stick some blu-tack on the outside face to make it easy to handle, peel off the back and stick it on. If you mess it up, use blu-tack to pull it off on one of the edges, give it a wash and re-apply.

IME it's the only screen protector that leaves your screen feeling 'naked', the rest introduce a horrible bumpy texture...

i'm always struggling for space on mine, the 90-odd meg of storage is a joke. Despite me having things installed on my sd card it just always seems to get full.

Plus, why is it, for example, that flash player is 12 ****ing MEG!? and i CANNOT install it on the sd card.

Any tips?!

Apart from the edge, you really can't tell.

why don't they come with them then? companies spend loads developing the touch aspects and glass design to get the right feel. then we stick a cheap bit of plastic over it. I have insurance from my bank and would just claim if anything happens... i think its sacrilege :D

I doubt the spend any time, some screens scratch too easily, for the sake of a tenner it's worth it.

Does anyone else find that iPlayer can be really choppy sometimes and the controls at the bottom don't seem to work either when this is happening?

i know, its just one of my pet hates, we have this debate at work. the dude next to me has plastic casing over his laptop that came with it.... the funny thing is its not even his own laptop!

i have no issues, sure i saw a debate on a android forum, some saying it was router con-figs and others saying it was mobile providers doing something, but fine for me on a rubbish 3mb line from o2 and vodafone for my phone service.

I've just flashed to Super Villain HD, runs really well and is incredibly fast! Shame the camera isn't working on any of the HD roms yet. HTCSense.com is working too :D

O the whole thing installs to NAND too so you have the entire internal phone memory free.

Thanks I'll give it a go on work's broadband and see if it's ok on a different router.

I've been using Supervillain HD since today and I'm loving it, it's rapid, installs to the NAND, so you have all of the internal memory available and is very lean for a sense based ROM. Only issue with all HD roms at the moment is the lack of a camera but I'm sure this will be fixed soon.

I'm using the OCUV 1113Mhz Kernel with it and this made the performance even better.

Get it from here:
