*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

so i presume i will need to root if im having issues with space? moved all the apps i can over to SD but always getting the low space warning. do i have any other options? im tempted to do it anyway, but also just like the setup as it is right now and would rather not if there is alternatives

You'll need to root and install a custom ROM that has Apps2SD+ Jimlad if you want to go away from Space issues, just root won't add any benefit without Apps2SD+.

MouseMat2004 A cheap eBay one will do the job perfectly:

I'm sure this has been asked lots, but what's the weather widget? I've still not found one I like...

Looking at your AppBrain, it's Snowstorm? How'd you get it like that?

Aha, sorted it!

I got a desire a few weeks ago. On o2 and really enjoying how I can customize every thing to how I like.

Quick question as I'm new to Android. What would be the benefit of flashing it and putting a custom Rom on it. It's still stock 02 running 2.2

My phone seems to be now fuzzing on a call, changing the volume doesn't seem to make it better. Should I talk to HTC about this or just go back to T-Mobile? Had mine since April, rather not trade it for an SLCD?

If I'm taking it back to the T-Mobile shop I'm going to have to unroot. Urgh. Do HTC have any service centres in the UK? It's definitely fuzzy, like the speaker's blown.

Any ideas if they'd fix it or just give me another one?

managed to drop my phone on Saturday night out and damage the casing around the screen :(

Sucks, becuase I don't have insurance! :(

that sucks dude, checked ebay for replacements? or is it pda parts?

you could always insure it now ;)

ps - what is broken? will it champ back down?

Yes I have one - but forgot to take it out!

That's what I'm thinking ;)

who do you bank with often the cheapest place for insurenace. anyway i will get in trouble talking about this.

i looked on ebay, they only have screens, did a quick google and not much out there, most people have to go direct to HTC, worth calling them and asking for a quote. it might not be that pricey... see what they say, be interesting to know. surprised there are not wholesale parts out there. As iphone parts are sooooo easy and cheap to get hold off
