I have defrost and LauncherPro Plus. Im having problems with contact photos..

On my contacts list all the photos from facebook are showing up but on some other apps no image displays i think its trying to use the main contact image, not the linked facebook image?

For example the LauncherPro people widget just has all blank images

Any ideas how to resolve this so these applications see the facebook picture as the main one?
 
Orange are giving me a replacement phone but want me to give them my old one unsurprisingly. I just rooted and was going to flash a custom ROM to fix a reboot loop issue but obviously the new phone is my preference. Should I unroot it or avoid the risk and leave as it is?

I had great difficulty rooting in the first place due to the reboot loop starting. Which is why im not sure I should try and unroot it. (and end up bricking it completely)
 
really basic issue , just getting used to the desire - havent really done much with it apart from using a scene and installing a few apps like Handcent, but how do I stop the doubling of the txt notification(ie Im currently getting standard notifications and handcent ones)? I thought I should stop the mail app but that seemed to stop me getting txts at all......any help would be appreciated

I may be tempted to root etc, but never had any luck with doing that kind of thing and bricked a few items in the past. Im only wanting to root etc because the standard battery life is awful (less than a day currently)

Apps>Messaging>Menu>Settings>Notifications - Uncheck :)
 
saw my first SLCD Desire yesterday, when it was put side by side with my amoled one you could notice the distance between the colours on the screen quite easily, so much so a lot of other people noticed.

Still though it didnt look too bad.
 
Got a problem with my Desire.

Was out earlier and tried to use the camera. It hanged for a while, then just returned to the menu.

Now my phone is running really sluggish, even in the boot menu thing.

Any ideas? Tried resetting it...

It wont even turn on now :/

edit: Now it seems to be working fine, but it says the battery is dead. Pretty sure it was on about 50%

I've been getting excellent battery life since DeFrost 5+ came out. This week for example I've had just over 70% battery when leaving work for home, unplugged at 7:30AM in the morning. Today for example, I watched 15 minutes of youtube, checked emails, changed some shiz around and browsed some internets.

It is excellent :D

I've been getting atrocious battery life with DeFrost since 5+ :p :(

Unplugged at 6:30, watched 30 minutes of video, 10 minutes of music and a 10 minute phonecall. Was on 20% when I got home at 18:00. I've even had the WiFi off (I normally leave it on at work, as I sneak onto works network ;)).

This is with SetCPU too, dropping CPU to 245MHz on screen-off.

Gonna give the latest OD a go and see if that's any better. Otherwise I'll probably go back to LeeDroid 2.1.
