I've recently noticed my call logs aren't using the data from my contacts :confused: they are just showing the numbers. My contacts are all there and even if I call them directly from contacts it doesn't show.

Time to backup and restore?

I've gone through the process of unrooting and returning to default using the method on http://theunlockr.com/2010/06/07/how-to-unroot-the-htc-desire/ I used the vodafone UK RUU and it's running ok so far. Should I be able to get the OTA update?? At the minute there are no updates and it is on 2.1 update 1.

I felt there was no real benefit to me being rooted and hopefully this fixes a few of my issues. And if I have to return it to vodafone as faulty it's already done.
 
On the mater of screen protection. Which do you find the best. Everyone I got so far always has bubbling round the out side
 
I bought a matte one from eBay and it was terrible, sapped the clarity and colour.

I go for the £1, single ones. They're normally the ones with the two sides you pull off, the first one then stick to the screen, then the second one once its stuck. The second layer really helps you apply it without any bubbles etc. I've had similar ones on my screen for over a year without any problems.
 
Hmm I didn't download it fully, just tested the download works then stopped it but the site itself seem down at the moment.
