Woo mine's been dispatched from Orange. Using our friends DPD no less.
They looks quite good! A mates leather iPhone case fits it nicely so may look for one of those. Screen protector wise, there are a few on eBay that would probably do the trick so may go for them.
Anyone know if the Desires from MPD are unlocked? If i ordered a voda one with a £20 a month will my orange sim work? I recall a while back just about every voda or O2 phone was already unlocked is this still the case.
Yep the sim free and contract ones are unlocked as far as im aware.

Been there since the start of April.
I got a mofi case for a few quid, but I'm gradually beginning to dislike it. It just seems too flimsy, and the phone slips out of it pretty easily
Im on a very old package that has free unlimited internet use. Its not longer available. I kept the package i have but i was offered a free phone, unlimited text, 300 mins voice (might have been 200) for £31 a month @ 18 months

Apps can't be installed to the memory card with Android (or has that changed?), so is the phones internal memory sufficient to install all the apps you need?
It hasn't been an issue for me and it wasn't an issue for me on the G1 either.

Once the its been "rooted" which I heard its just had been, then you can install an Apps2SD applications. Not that I would recommend it, its messed up my HTC Hero.
Anyway you not going to need to run apps from you SD card, there's plenty of space on the phone.
they're basically the same as the iPhone traffic but minus the wifi from what I can tell.
I've got the 'dreaded' pinkish tint, should I return the phone/get it exchanged for a new one or just try and live with it? get the tint on the htc website and also see it on the o2 website not just on the googlemail app. from what I've read if the tint is evident other places apart from the gmail app then it's a faulty device and can be returned(people have said they've been adviced by htc to get an exchange), but what if all stock that cpw have has the tint issue?
Someone(said he works for cpw) on the xda forums said that cpw exchange for new not refurb handset in the first 28days if it's faulty, but then I'd been adviced that they do a 14 day return when it's not true for orange payg bought instore.

yesterday i got told that it passed the credit check and now was just going through order processing and should be dispatched before 4pm
today i got told that it passed credit check and now was going through their security team and i should receieve a confirmation of shipping in the next half hour.
When i asked what the hold up had been I got this answer "I dunno"
Thinking about canceling now ¬_¬
