have searched for the neoprene android cover for the nexus with no luck either..anyone else have any thoughts where to get one please?

Should be good as its a genuine htc product, there are ones available in the uk for a about 1.50 if you dont fancy waiting for air freight.

FFS Tmobile just rung me to tell me that they wont have anymore Desires in stock till Mon....so hopefully get mine on Tues....told them if its not here by Tues then cancel my order...
Trying to fob me off with the excuse that demand is high and they didnt order enough...well as far as im concerned they knew demand was going to be high so why order just the bare minimum.

For those with the original ROM from T-Mobile, there is an update today from t-Mobile to 1.15.110.11. Updated with no issues.
Ring your local shop and see if they've got some to go and get one from there. I got fed up of them fobbing me off in the call centre.

Finally got through to MPD, except I ended up going through sales as it seems impossible to get through to customer support.

Here is something funny for you, a vodaphone call centre guy told me the HTC Legend was better than the Desire, and it was also the top of the range handset, higher than the Desire.
So I asked him why the desire was more in demand and he gave me some lame excuse.

Already rung them...they dont have any in stock either
I had to travel 100 miles to get mine, they are actually in very short supply because demand is much higher than anticipated.
Now that the phone has been released in yanky land expect production to ramp up and availability improve.

picking mine up tonight eventually found a shop with them in stock! does it matter if i've already been into another shop and done the credit check etc and ordered one from there but not paid or signed anything?

Got my handset from Orange, confirmed that the back cover has a small Orange logo. Still charging so not sure about any firmware branding yet.
They're funny for doing stuff like that, I really don't get the point.

I think those ones are only available with the Nexus One.
You could try calling HTC to see if they can supply them seperately.
