*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

Hmmm my Weather app on the main home screen seems to have broken. It won't update at all, last update was at 4am this morning. Tried numerous times to update it today but nothing, is anyone else having this problem? Wonder if the server that it uses is down.

My weather app works ok when i update it manually - however when i set it to auto update every hour it doesnt do it - when i check the settings the auto box unticks it self everytime...anyone else having this problem

Went into the Orange shop in Woking today and had a play with one of theirs - has Orange logo printed on the back and has orange wallpaper but aside from that seems pretty much untouched. As the guy above says - installing own rom will remove all all network branding anyway.

The APN should be general.t-mobile.uk

thats what it says and it just wont connect :( i could do it off wireless access but thats not that point, the mobile internet should work. ive not had a monthly contract for a while, i dont have to wait to be connected or somthing do i?

thinking of getting one of these as im finding my old (but loved!) Nokia 6300 a bit limiting as i really need good email support especially due to my job. I have a question... can i set up my own pop accounts with this phone or would i have to have a gmail account (which would be no good). Also, is there a service like with the blackberrys so my emails arrive instantly and i dont have to keep logging in to check?

Shouldnt need to... I received a message from T-Mob that told me to text a word to a certain number to re-send the settings but I have since deleted it :(

Give T-Mob a call, They are open till 2200 :)

I'm thinking of upgrading to the HTC Desire on Vodafone. Anyone had any serious issues with it? I assume the Vodafone version comes with Google Mail, Google Talk etc...?

I'd like to know this too.

I'm due a call on monday morning at 9am to upgrade to an HTC Desire once they're in stock :)

Right so the phone from Orange includes some customisations such as an awful home screen, Orange maps, an Orange app store etc. All can be turned off and the phone returned to 'vanilla' mode easily.

Questions! Can I modify the notifications that I receive based on what account they've come from? I'd like my phone to ring if someone needs to call me in an emergency in the middle of the night, but I don't need it to buzz when a work email arrives, e.g. buzz 9-5:30 for work emails, silent otherwise.

Secondly, how can I delete contacts? I've synced both home and work email accounts, so I have a bunch of work and Facebook randoms cluttering up the phonebook.

Edit: I seem to have three sets of contacts too. A small set in the phonebook, a larger set in people and an even larger set when selecting group members.

Can anyone with T-mobile pay monthly check if you have the "unlimited internet booster" enabled by default, it's in the "My price plan" section of your account...For some reason I have "Capped Data Rate" checked not the unlimited booster which is available with a recurring cost of £4.25...I should have unlimited as part of the deal!

Ring 150 and check your minutes it should say unlimited internet. If it doesn't then its not setup.

As far as I am aware, apart from the addition of Vodafone Live, the phone is the same as any other network.

If I am mistaken, I am sure someone will point it out. :)
