Probably that it's a metal-cased phone as I got no signal at home at all. Same with the iPhone 5/6 and to an extent the S5, though the plastic back helps with that. All other phones have been/are fine in my home, just these few that all seem to have metal cases in common. :confused:
 
This might be a per-app setting but is there any way to get notifications to appear on the lock screen itself rather than on the bar at the top? Might be I'm too used to iOS and such a thing isn't possible on android.
 
Quick question. My friend's M8 decided to factory wipe over night, has no idea why. He says the phone backed up daily but no backup is there. Any ideas? Other than Google syncing his contacts back - everything is gone.

So I returned it to HTC for repair. Only took 4 emails, 5 goes on their contact form, two live chat sessions and two phone calls :rolleyes:

Got it back this week and it seems to be picking up the sim card again. I think they've had the whole thing apart as there are some new marks top right of the screen and part of the seal is slightly loose bottom right. Nice Regenersis took care of it eh :rolleyes:

Anyways, not very impressed by their repair process but if the phone works properly that's the main thing I guess.
 
Guys, I've got a couple of cases (Poetic and Dot view case) and a slick wraps black carbon fibre wrap (brand new) I no longer have a need for. Anyones welcome to these if wanted, I'd prefer not to post cause of the hassle but if someone wants to collect from around the stoke area they are most welcome. :)

Using Cyanogenmod at the moment but i'm looking at changing. Can't decide though :o

Tempted to go back to Android Revolution.

Edit: Tried Skydragon but for some reason it wouldn't work, anyone tried it?

The speakers are probably the best you'll get on a phone at the moment.

I think the GPE is US only through the play store, but you can convert the standard one if you're comfortable with ADB.
