Why do companies do this exclusive rubbish
I really want this phone but I'm not going anywhere near Vodafone. Any idea when it'll be available on Orange or o2 ?
GSM Arena said:The HTC Sensation will become available exclusively from Vodafone in its key European markets this May, while the rest of the carriers and retailers will get it in mid-June.
Welcome back to the dark side, hope you enjoy your stay.Is it stupid that I kind of want to buy one of these, even though I think the Galaxy S II is better? :/
I could use both, for err... some stuff!
One of the main things that always pulls me towards the HTC devices is I prefer the UI to the samsung's.
I know you can mod them to what ever you want, I used to do it all the time but now I just want it to be what I want out the box, whats wrong with HTC hardware?
Doesn't the Sensation have a higher resolution screen?
I'd take this over extra ram that would be un-noticable. What else does the Galaxy II have?
For me, unexciting and overly functional styling (despite generally solid build quality) and crap cameras compared to other big brands.
As far as I can tell the Galaxy S II is thinner.
Thinner, lighter, AMOLED screen, higher quality screen, Corning Gorilla Glass, no backlight bleed (obviously), better phone design, non locked bootloader, source code freely available so now the possibilities are endless, etc!
Things like bootloader etc aren't really an issue with HTC devices either though are they? If you know were to look!
HTC have now begun to hardlock the bootloaders... so no, not entirely down to personal preference sadly.
A certain forum will no doubt get that sorted in time, I have faith! hehe
It took another well-known hard-locked bootloader phone months to get unlocked.... I would now not, ever, buy a phone that came with a locked bootloader.
