If your supercid you can flash any firmware?
When I get home I'll add the 11111111 to the text file and give the firmware flash another go. Strange that it shouldn't work when I know the supercid worked because I followed the steps for it including checking what the new cid was. That's the one I used. I didn't even check the text file and it flashed fine.

OK. I just checked and cid is definitely 11111111. What other reason might there be for my phone rejecting the firmware upgrade? Should I take the DarkForest ROM off my SD card?I didnt have to enter anything to the textfile due to being supercid'd
Yep, I know enough about Android phones to put ROMS etc in root directory. I'll try the firmware again after dinner and show the log of what happened up til the error occured. You have the file on the root of the sd card havent you? Also what actually happens does the phone interigate the file?
Not sure I understand? Apart from copying the zip file over I wasn't doing anything else with the computer. What was happening when you put the pg58img file on the sdcard?
Which specific link did you use for your firmware? And do you have a link to an up-to-date superwipe script? I didn't run superwipe before I tried to flash the firmware. Perhaps that was the problem?I wasnt getting the firmware from the page you linked
this is the one i used

I meant what error were you getting when you tried to flash the file?

That's a no then. HBOOT-1.17-1111.if you restart into bootloader it should tell you your hboot, if it says something like 1.27 youve already done it i think
Er do you mean 3.30? There's no 3.20 links. I'll download 3.30 from the HTC Part 1, is that OK?right thats ok then thats what revolutionary installs when you s-off, it should just be a matter of putting a 3.20 unlocked firmware from the link i showed you onto the root of the sd card and taking battery off and restart into bootloader
OK, cheers. Something is wrong though. Just copied that firmware over and the phone still won't flash it. Same text seen as before. It finds it, starts to install it then gives up.Id go with this one then, not that it really matters if your 11111111

Also if your going to use darkforest then superwipe is included in the installer so you dont need that link
