I actually flashed mine back to stock today and un s-off'd it as Im sending it back as it doesnt seem to like ics :( ICS is sitting there as an OTA update but I dare not do that incase they send the phone back to me....
 
hmmmm not sure what to suggest mate, just redone mine from scratch and it all went without any hicups

Ah, just seen your post. Hmm. What firmware did you use? The same one you suggested I use? I can't understand why my phone won't flash the P58IMG.zip file. :confused:

Have just noticed that my radio isn't the same as yours. Would that cause a problem?
 
Sorry I cant be more help, if it makes you feel better mine acts totally weird running ics, as though your touching the screen when your not, different apps, folders open by themselves, phones people etc etc.......

Cheers for your help. :) It's a shame we couldn't get this working. I think I've seen your video on YouTube of your phone acting all weird.
 
Got a response on XDA. You were saying bootloader? I was booting into recovery mode. :D How we didn't spot that!! :eek::o

It's all working fine now. :) DarkForest is installing as I write this.

Yeah vol down + power and it auto runs the PG58IMG file :)

then you have to pull the battery and wipe the file of the sdcard to stop the it doing it again, sorry I didnt realise you were trying to flash it through recovery... mines still acting up so its going back tomorrow, ill have to go back to my desire for a bit, i was debating to see how it acts with ics ota, that popped up tonight
 
Yeah we just didn't realise we were talking about different things there. :)

I've got DarkForest installed. Just trying to remember my flaming Google password to get into Gmail. Need to get at the text Google have sent me but that's a bit difficult in the middle of a Google setup wizard. :p

Edit: Spoke too soon. Setup wizard keeps stopping when I go through the initial setup. Gone back to ArHD for the moment then off to bed. It's been a long evening!

yeah spotted that on xda :) they must have been taken some time apart ;) question for voda users, are your handsets branded at all? not software wise but any logo's etc on the phone, i had to send mine back and the only option is a 3 handset or a voda one.
