***The Official HTC Sensation thread***

That is awesome news!

Other interesting news is that Cyanogen is actually buying a Sensation himself and will 'probably' support it with CM7.

Android Revolution Rom is already confirmed too.

So this will be a good phone if you like Rom flashing and what have you and haven't got a Galaxy S II for whatever reason :)

Good to hear it's finally happening, really does reduce the difference between the two main phones now, I'd hate to have to decide between them :p

Just curious but why are you 2 buying a sensation when you both already have a galaxy S 2, which is superior in every way apart from the build quality and the software/UI :p (not that there isn't anything wrong with the GS 2 as both the build quality and touchwiz is excellent this time).

I could understand it, if you both had maybe a LG optimus 2x (I know jabbs did for about 2 weeks and then bought the GS 2) or even the desire, nexus series etc.

I've just managed to blag one cheap off Vodafone by the look of things and I'd like to properly try one out, I can sell it on with no fuss if it turns out that its rubbish.

Am a phone geek you could say, am always trying different ones out.

£110 all in. I do have running contracts with them though, and they get plenty of business so I expected a good deal but maybe not that good  :D

Not quite with you there... do you mean that you paid £110 for a new phone when you renewed one of your contracts at the same rate, or were you able to negotiate more minutes, texts and data also?

I have 5 existing contracts open with them (not all for me, obviously) and said that I wanted one of the phones upgrading WITHOUT extending the contract (which isn't that old anyway) as a goodwill gesture, and they agreed to £110 (down from £160). I didn't change the minutes, etc.

best deal was the one with buymobilephones.net - 18mnth contract £30 pm - 600mins, 500txts, unlimited internet on T-Mobile - phone for free and £30 cashback off the price of the contrac (taking overall cost to £28 pm).

They've changed it now - they've dropped the £30 cashback and are charging £9.99 for the phone!
