***The Official HTC Sensation thread***

It seems quite normal, no issues.

AMOLED displays used to have a slightly pink tint at very low brightness levels on a grey background (it was technically a fault but not one you'd ever really notice), LCD shouldn't have that problem.

They tend to look a bit more yellow/blue if anything.

I have consulted my paint picker tool and it says that it's grey, so you're wrong!

:p

The Desire screens are both slightly blue.

The dropper tool selects individual pixels which are all a shade of grey but look at it as a whole and those shades give a pink tinge to the picture. Dropper tool is useless for this test :)

I remember commenting that the whites on the LCD were 'whiter' than the bluey-whites on the SAMOLED screens. So I'm sure it's just a dodgy screen.

I know :(

Went into town for a last look at the Sensation before placing an order. Is it just me or are the icons on the screen of the Sensation more... blurry than those on the Desire?

i just had a look aswell and i thought the same thing? maybe down to the resolution? anyway aside from that seemed impressive but not much better than my older Desire HD

How do I tell? I took the phone to CPW this evening and swapped it for another - its not pink now.

It isn't as sharp as my Desire, mind. A real shame.

Cant seem to copy texts over from my Desire :(

Does the extra resolution seem apparent to you? Especially in web browsing?
