***The Official HTC Sensation thread***

Traditionally, charging ports are at the bottom so you just slot the phone in vertically. This isn't possible with the Sensation.

Dock with what? A special dock that you just slap it in and it charges?
Yep. A desktop charging stand. I'm looking for one that'll allow me to connect my Sensation to my PC.

I think the Sensation has its USB port on the side to encourage or allow videos to be played back when its on the dock to take advantage of the widescreen-ness.

How on earth do I stop things from running and using my internet usage?

I close them from the running tab then I might come back to the phone a couple hours later to see 2 screens full of running applications all somehow started themselves wasting my internet usage.

Anyone else playing Lets Golf 2 HD on their Sensation ?

I bought it the other day and its working ok apart from the power bar / dial stuttering at times.

Also grabbed Nova2 HD which is running nice & smooth so far.

Has anyone had contact problems?

Some of mine get renamed with two surnames ?!?!

And also some of them randomly get deleted from people?! They are still present in whatsapp messenger but only as a number and not with a contact name. Searching for them in people brings up no results although their details are still present if I look through my Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIN contacts.

Any ideas?

Anybody figured out whether there's a voice dialling function yet, and if so how to set it up? I'm sure there must be and I'm just missing something... Running the Sensation with a Jawbone Era

In order for this feature to function, you should have paired your phone to a compatible Bluetooth headset. To use voice dialing with a compatible Bluetooth device, please press and hold on the SEARCH button on the handset and speak from the Bluetooth device.
You can use keywords like "call <contact name> <contact type>".
For example, "call John Smith home" will call John Smith's home number.

NOTE 1: An internet connection (Wi-Fi, GPRS/3G, etc.) is required to access this service. Your operator may charge for using GPRS/3G.

NOTE 2: This function requires Bluetooth in order to work properly, and usage may shorten the handset's battery life. Please refer to "How can I prolong my handset's battery life?" FAQ.

NOTE 3: This function can be utilized if your Bluetooth headset is already paired with your phone. Please refer to "How do I pair a Bluetooth headset?" FAQ.
