[Edit- vol down & power to access it & then you'll have the green android come up with "start", It'll say "fastboot mode" in red under the android. On the toolkit

Ok i got to that screen. Using the vol up/down keys i have the following options...
Start
Restart bootloader
Recovery Mode
Power off
Which one do i need?

None leave it on that screen & just make sure your phone is connected to the PC & press 9 on the toolkit

just installed PA 2.99 feb 6 and cannot see any difference in the screen.
is there anything else to download? cheers

Ahh no wonder we are not on the same page. Its a different toolkit.
I've installed the one you guys are talking about.
Ok....So i hit 9 on that screen and im presented with 2 options
1. Download Google Stock Image
2. Flash Google factory Image
Im guessing its option 1?

Yeah option 1 & then when its finished downloading I imagine it'll be option 2 after.
As I say though I've never done this before so learning on the fly myself

Fingers crossed this works! This should be the right one.
OP have you begun yet? If not, then check at the top of the toolkit and make sure your device's serial number is displayed.

Interesting....the one from Google is 327Mb and the other is 362Mb
Because of different compression I think. From Google its a TGZ file & from Goo it is TAR.
