son of a bitch.
cyberport NOW showing the 22nd for the yellow and 29th for the red! it was the 15th for both!!! URGH!!!!!!

That's not good, oh well I am happy enough with the white handset.

Expansys have sold out of White handsets, that's over 100 in less than 24 hours.

Hmm great phone but a few downsides:

Gmail implementation not the greatest. Emails arrive late, early and sometimes not at all. Deleting them means they stay on the server for a bit.
I also hate how you have to download images on a email everytime!! Even things like company banners. Wish emails would come through as they should be.

Whatsapp notifications not on lock screen. Likewise for Kik.

Needs more than 5 notifications on the lock screen.

I wish the status bar would remain at the top on the home screen. The Sybil's for wifi and reception disappear.

I realise these are WP8 issues and not nokia's but it's a pain :-/

I don't have a problem per say with Gmail, as I have set it up I the normal Google account method with it setup to be delivered as they arrive. That said I don't really use GMail much these days.

That's my only real gripe with the email client, downloading the pictures can be a pain but I can also see why they have done it like that. Hopefully as WP8 progresses all these little niggles get ironed out. I see the WP8 as a vast improvement over the Android mail client which I had on the SGS2 and SE Arc, the overall presentation is much cleaner.

The notification, has been a talking point on a number of forums which I used / look at. MS have gone on record and said they simply ran out of time, so that should be coming with the next update.

At a guess, once the Whatsapp gets a update it should support notications on the main screen.

What I have noticed about the 920 coming from the 800 is how loud the phone is and the overall improved audio quality, I am really very impressed with it and also means I don't have to carry around the iPad as I have been using that as audio player.

I did notice about the vibrating on the phone, its pretty vicious coming from the 800. However, I do agree it does sound a bit iffy, I am not too fussed about it.

A dead phone again this morning. No warning, one minute it was fine, the next, dead. Hard reboot fixed it.

On a plus - well over 24hrs since last charge now.

Interesting, as above how long have you had it for?

Mine has been fine thus far.

Its not faulty tho so how am i suppose to return it?

Unwanted Goods – 7 Days Policy

At Clove Technology we operate a 7 days unwanted goods policy. If you find that a product is not right for you for whatever reason, then return can be requested within this period. Simply contact us within 7 working days from the date of dispatch of your goods.

A return authorisation form will then be issued and the products need to be returned within the following 7 days.

We do ask that the goods are returned to us in perfect “as new” condition. In the case of phones they should be returned with all accessories, documentation and packaging including the box inners.

The goods will be inspected upon receipt. In the situations where a refund is offered this will be for the goods only. The original shipping charge and the return shipping costs incurred will not be refunded.
