**** The Official OnePlus 6 Thread ****

I find shelf quite useful. There was a time when I slapped Nova on all my phones but I gave Oxygen launcher a go and I'm pleasantly surprised.

Pretty sure they've confirmed they'll include a type-c to 3.5mm adapter with the phone so the only minus point is you won't be able to share charge and use 3.5mm headphones.
And having to carry round said adapter until the end of my days. Utterly pointless. Wireless music is compressed and sounds terrible. The only reason for removing the jack is exactly the same as Apple; to sell shoddy wireless headphones to morons who don't know any better.

Leave the adapter connected to the headphones?

I agree though tbh. The list of 2018 phones with a headphone jack is so short. It's basically Samsung Galaxy S9/Note, OP6 non T or LG G7 ThinQ or something crappy like an Asus or random Chinese company.

All the glass protectors I've tried have been rubbish. I've been used it without protection for months and surprisingly I don't have any scratches. But some of the protective coating has come off.

I think I'm going to start trolling OnePlus regarding the headphone jack. They posted on FB asking what your favourite OP6 feature was, so I said the headphone jack :o

Anyone want to join me?

No.

I used to always want a headphone jack on my phone but after all the problems I have with my S7E jack as it became completely unusable as any earphones I put in there just kept falling out, I see it as a good thing the 6T will not have one. Bluetooth earphones all the way.

Just wish they would officially announce it seeing as release is probably 3 weeks away.

I honestly can't see how you could break a headphone jack. Throughout all my phones and even my old iPod classic I've never had a headphone jack break

And bluetooth, lol. It sounds grim. No comparison... Besides the point, I have a really good set of wired headphones, I don't want to replace them because somebody decided I should.. Especially when I'm paying that somebody £500+ for a phone.
