When you get into the power plant, there is a ladder in a recess on the way. Go up it, and thats the door they're talking about when you found the stash.

In there lies the real ending.

There's a youtube video showing exactly where it is if you can't find it.
 
IIRC its confirmed who Strelok is during the cut scene after you turn off the scorcher? Duing one cut scene before Pip, the chap with the beard confirms it.

I've stop playing until I set up my new 42" TV set up. :)

There are hints all through the game. However its not confirmed until you finish the game with the real ending.

So lets not spoil it for anyone by giving it all away.

If your talking about the very 1st bit of the game, You can either run realllly far to the right and go though a break in the fence, go to the guard with no weapons drawn and pay them 500rubles, or go though the Electric tunnel, you just have to watch how the anomolies move :)

Then again, if your not, I'll just shut up haha

I think he means the railway at Cordon .. at the very begining..


If you head right as if facing the railway then there's a gap in the fence but try and avoid the blockade under the bridge... go through it.. and down the otherside.. or even across the girders a the top if you fancy ..:)

I'm in the NPP station now.. I've just found the secret door :) Not far now.. Interestingly, I've not needed the SEVA suit.. The heavy armoured suit i found in Pipyrat seems to be holding well.

I only ever found ammo in Chernobyl itself. Shame coz its a quality gun! :)

I just stand on the top near the train. Keep poking my head over so the group of guards see me and as they come up to investigate, shoot them with the shotgun.
 
Help please.

Have been playing Stalker on Vista for about two weeks now with no problems until today. I can't seem to play for more than 30 seconds before the BSOD kicks in and my whole system crashes. Patches have been applied but I have refrained from adding the Float patch. No new software or hardware. It's driving me nuts.

?????????????????

I went up to the guy with no gun and knifed him. Took his machine gun, then killed all the other guys.

Its the first place to get a decent machine gun.
