They all seem to be between 32/34,000 rupees which is around £400 - but if I can haggle them down a bit I thought why not :D

Not sure if the Indian one will work in the UK though, any idea?

Should work fine aslong as it has GSM 900 MHz and 1800 MHz bands.

Just make sure the version is N7100/N7105 and you'll be fine.

Also, out of curiosity, is there much difference between the write speeds to the micro SD via phone vs card reader?

Wondering if it's worth ripping out my SD card every time I'm transferring large files.

You should get the Max 10MB/s via the phone which is what I get with a class 10 on my S3. You could always try and see if there were a difference.

Can you use a USB otg ?, I have a 64GB usb3 stick and I think I'd just use that instead of getting a micro sd.

Thank you very much Kona! Great idea too mug2k.

I was using esFile explorer to play a 4.5GB movie from my PC but it wouldn't stream without pausing to buffer.

Very odd considering I own a fancy dual band Cisco E4500, I've even tried the 5 GHz channel.

Not affecting me. I do (and have always occasionally) get problems with the GPSD service staying active. A reboot solves it though, and it is no more prevalent under 4.1.2 than it was in previous versions.

I've noticed a large drop in battery life since installing 4.1.2
Something in the region of 6 - 10 hours.

Hopefully there will be a further release to sort this. Failing that, I'll be going back to 4.1.1

I tired lots of different 4.1.2's before the UK BTU one was release, some wouldnt last a day with moderate use so I kept going back to 4.1.1 using odin. However since getting 4.1.2 via kies all seems good and I now get about 2 days out of my phone or at least a full day of heavy use.
