Well you 'can' use it with no CSC, you may find some services looking for settings and it generally acting up. Personally I would set one, XEU.

CSC = Customer Specification Configuration.

The CSC defines all the default bits (default language, time format, emergency numbers) network APNs and branding if there is any.

To set the CSC type *#272*imei# (your imei), this will show you the CSCs available. If you select one it WILL factory reset the phone.

Well thank and you, followed that and its working, just keeping it on Push and see how battery goes, but for the life of me..how did this account set itself up on Pop and recieveing/ sending jsut find then over night "loose" the entire account of its own accord!?!?!?!

Okay I've installed the O2 ROM and Kies now says O2U ROM.

I thought once flashed to this I type *#272*imei# I could change it XEU?

Then apply the insecure flash

If you want to debrand then flash the KDD firmware from my XDA thread not the o2 one. After flashing and rebooting then boot into recovery and do a format and then flash again, now you should have XEU. Then flash the insecure kernel from CF and then you can flash back the repackaged KDF kernel I uploaded.

On video play back it does. Make sure you play through the video app and not the gallery otherwise the settings menu will be missing
