I got a Folix screen protector for my phone. I really don't like how the display looks underneath it with bright colours. Bright colours look like there's some sort of refraction going on.

I'll keep it on for the moment to protect the glass, but has anyone found a decent screen protector that doesn't take anything away from display quality?

at a guess i'd say no as on the site is says the following

I'm waiting for the martin fields to come into stock here: www.snappyurl.com/qqijr9 I've seen them on other phones and they are really good.. A mate of mine was using his phone as a torch whilst working on his engine and scraped the screen on metal, it didn't get to the screen cos of his martin fields protector

That's what I thought too, but figured its worth asking incase someone has tried it - it's really annoying that nothing works when u have a case on!

Thanks - I'll put up with the Folix for the moment, it's thick and obviously tough, just takes away aso much quality from the display.

Will keep an eye on that site to see if they come into stock anytime soon. Can't believe how hard it is to get hold of accessories for this thing at the moment! :eek:

One other question - my Gmail app is displaying mail from my Hotmail. Is there any way to fix this as I ideally wanted the two to be separate?

I configured my Hotmail account with the standard mail app and GMail in the Gmail app, but somehow it seems to be pulling in the hotmail messages as well.

Did you get the Antireflex version?

I bought the CLEAR one and find it good. I managed to apply it first time with no bubbles and it fits perfectly.
The only downside I can see is that fingerprints are a little more visible.

Question I was on an 18 month 1000 mins, 250 texts and unlimited land lines and unlimited Internet for £40.
I was told that the unlimited land line is really 3000 mins so I have opted to update my old 18 tariff to the new one which is 1000 mins and 3000 mins land lines with unlimited Internet = 750 MBs with 250 texts And free phone.

Is this ok or should I remain on the old tariff?

Yep, big mistake!

It seems good quality and fitted perfectly with no bubbles, which is even more annoying.

I didn't realise there was a non-anti-reflex one! I'll order a clear one.

Just had a call from O2, they're not expecting stock in until the 23rd

At least they called to keep me up to date.

No idea as I use a sleeve case, but I was all excited seeing that it was in-stock, so grabbed the credit card and ordered away only to get an email just over an hour later saying actually no it's not in stock,

Refund was prompt at least.

So, top tip of the day, don't order from these scum who blatantly lie about stock levels to get your money

I have had an email from buymobilephones.net saying they expect stock next week and aim to deliver on either the 25th or 26th but they will ship prior to those dates if stock arrives early (I won't hold my breath on that, given the demand for these handsets).

Yep I had the same email today as well from Buymobiles. If it was ontime it should have been here today

. I also popped into town to see if any of the usually high street stores had any in stock and they were all out. They all said virtually the same thing, handset is in high demand and they didn't know when they were getting more stock.

I ordered it on sunday afternoon. They did say they were getting some stock in on the 17th but it hasn't arrived yet.
