****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Current contracts on T-Mobile have the 3gb usage but new contracts now will only have the 500mb, there was a big up roar about it so they changed it to new contracts
only.

Am guessing Phones 4 u have the exclusive stock in now as they have changed to in stock.

Hmm. To Phones4u or not to Phones4u... that is the question.

It doesn't really help that I dislike Phones4u as the people in my local ones are about as knowledgeable as a piece of seaweed at the bottom of the ocean when it comes to phones.

Anyone ordered from them online before, etc?

Ordered! I'm currently on T-Mobile and so i'll have to do the old port switcheroo mentioned earlier to keep my number. Are most networks ok with you porting a number in and then straight back out again?

They are probably sold out already for delivery on the 27th (if that holds up).

I bet they didn't have many. You never know though.

I put my order in on Monday for mine if I don't get it on the 27 Ill just cancel, time will tell had no emails of them saying its been shipped etc but I wouldn't expect that until next week.

I was just gonna order from river place (seriously we still have to talk code here, does OC sell phones now?) or something..how would I fair there?

Damn their date is May 6th lol

Looks like I'm going payg too, what's the cheapest payg price now? Was going to go on contract 18 months/30quid a month/600mins/500texts/internet + booster. Changed my mind though as t-mobile will get the phone in June. Will probably go on a giff gaff route.

*Think* you have to have left for at least a month to come back as a new subscriber.

Still not on the offcial Orange site but Carphone Warehouse say I can upgrade through them despite getting my current phone straight from Orange...

I'll pop down to Phones4u and the CW tomorrow and see which one will have it quicker and can do the best deal. Phones4U are the only ones offering an 18 month contract though which is what I want, I made the mistake of being locked in for 2 years with my last phone!

Still debating to buy this sim free or get it on a contract? Can't really afford to pay £500 upfront for a phone now.

On t-mobile 7.50 a month with 3gb data sim only. Of course, once the duration finishes which is in september i will lose that 3gb data :( :(
