Just orderd mine!!!!!
Got it through Phones4U and they say it should be with me 3-5 days after the 27th! I hope so as I'm going to London on the 7th May and would love to test out the 1080p video recording.
I am on Orange and my last contract ran out at the end of the month; weirdly they said this phone was "new contracts only" so I had to sign up for a new contract with Orange (and thus get a new number) and cancel my current Orange contract.
Bit odd but actually a good thing as I find evry now and then you realise there are certain people you wish you hadn't given your number too so the new one should help clense my phone list

What is that likely to cause ? not overly bothered about it being locked but the branded does this mean orange stuff on.
On another note just called P4U up and she checked my order and told me its at there warehouse direct from Samsung and will be sent on 26th for delivery on 27th.

Good! Makes it less appealing to thieves and as I'm locked into an 18 month contract and happy with my network I really couldn't care less.
I can't see me selling me it for the duration of my contract and I'm sure in 18 months you'll be able to unlock it in most high street shops.
Who cares? I'd prefer if it wasn't but not that bothered tbh. Besides that will be easily removeable via software/firmware upgrade I would hope.
Good for you, but remember not everyone has £500 to throw around.

Locked perhaps, but hopefully not branded. Since Orange haven't even got this on their coming soon page, I'm hoping that they haven't quite finished loading the firmware with their bloat, so it won't make it to the Phones 4 U batch.

Got an optimus 2x from them the other day, they told me there phones are unloked and unbranded. This was certainly true of my optimus 2x and my friends experia arc

Not sure a thief is likely to question whether its locked or unlocked before stealing it / mugging it from you...

Such reviews are torture...I am living off a HTC Wildfire temporarily...it is horrible

I am due an upgrade in a month or so but thought I'd buy now and get the upgrade and sell it when it becomes available.
