****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Not sure if serious?

I'm just saying, you'd think a big company like Phones4U could make sure someone checks their communication with customers. A one-off typo is one thing but they've made the same mistake in every mail.

It's the small things in business. Anyway I'll happily forgive them if my phone turns up tomorrow as expected.

Two years ago I switched from T-Mobile PAYG to Pay Monthly on Combi 20 (i.e. £20 a month) with a free Nokia 5800. After the end of my contract I decided to stick with the phone and tariff I had for the forseeable future. then two months ago I added a £5 internet booster to try to reduce my costs on data charges.

Anyone with T-mobile retentions experience able to comment on whether T-mobile would be willing to offer me a S2 on my current deal? I know its a bit of ambigious question and to be honest I'm just not sure i can wait that long :D

My local Camberley P4U has a couple of spares in stock as I went in to have a play and see what deals they had.

Popped into the 3 store and they will be releasing it on Friday. It will be on the One plan for £40 (or £38 maybe) or the 500mins+unlimited texts one for £35. Will give 3 a ring then to see what upgrade offer I can get. Hoping for £25/month tops after loyalty discount etc.

Ordered Tuesday, apparently will not be dispatched until at least tomorrow

edit: And no post on Friday? What about Saturday? What about Sunday!? WHAT ABOUT MONDAY!?!?!?

Bit of a mixed bag for me emotionally right now, will be getting my SII tomorrow but just found out I won't be getting paid as my employer has made a mix up and I'll have to wait at least a week for it to be sorted.

So I'll have an amazing phone and be skint at the same time.

Friday is a bank holiday so no Royal Mail Deliveries for sure,

Saturday is not a bank holiday so normal weekend delivery operations should continue.

Sunday usually no delivery operations but logistics operations will continue (i.e shunting between hubs in HGV's).

Monday is a bank holiday so no Royal Mail deliveries for sure

Oh lovely. Phones4U tell me that you automatically fail a credit check if you already have a contract with the network you are trying to set a new contract up with.

All they did was ask for my existing number with them and P4U didn't tell me and put it through as failed instead... nice one.

Its sorted now though

Bloody morons. This is why Mobiles.co.uk ask for your existing number(s) when you order.

Oh crap...I may have to give BuyMobilePhones.net a call in that case, because my current contract is T-Mobile.
