Hi Guys, I have the NFC version of the Galaxy S2 (GT-i9100P)

Can someone please point me in the direction of the BEST version of Jelly Bean to flash to my phone? I don't use the NFC btw :)

Has anyone used the official one yet?
I downloaded it but then it turned out to be for ODIN only and somehow it doesn't recognise my phone any more (it did before, not sure what's going on). Think I'll wait until I see reports that battery life has actually improved and until there is a ROM I can flash through CWM.
I'm running Wanamlite 13 now (based on the leak a few months ago) but the lock screen bug is getting a bit old now and battery life is poor. I like the Samsung interface though, much more than stock Google, so it's good to see an official 4.1.2.
 
So... I put Paranoid Android 2.54 on a while back, and it's not had any updates for while, and I keep having odd little issues. (Most annoying is that I can't get MMS to work)

Therefore - I want to try going back to an official ROM - what's the best, easiest, and quickest way for me to put the official 4.1.2 on my phone?

PA 2.99b9 was released a few days ago. I loved PA 2.54 but Im running jellybam 5 now

Which official 4.1.2? the spanish one?
 
I just flashed the Spain 4.1.2 over the 4.1.2 Leak I had on the phone via Odin.
All went smoothly and did not loose a thing, all apps and settings are there. The only thing that changed is the lockscreen wallpaper.
I had no idea it would just update the system files and keep everything in place.
Impressed with the update procedure, will see how the rest goes..Battery etc.

edit* I used Odin 1.85 not the newer version as I had read about problems with it.

When the UK version is released... Running some random pre-rooted Samsung ICS rom at the moment from about a year or more ago, how do I go about updating it? I want to stay rooted and if possible keep my apps etc.

The Spanish version will be the same as the UK version no?

The battery life on LS8 seems markedly worse than the JB leak but that is perception. I will see over the next few days. In terms of operation, Samsung have done a fine job of JB on gs2.

I'm using the leaked version. I found 2 bugs - Lock screen and the Wi-Fi drop outs..

Do you know if this has been resolved in the official version?
 
Don't think so. Just flash a custom rom amd kernal I have no problems at all with mine. I've posted a link a few posts up. It's a stock rom with all the junk taken out and a few tweaks
