****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

I sorted my problem last week. Network 3 were less than helpful. Took it To a man to sort out and it cost me £20 :\
My battery life as gone back to normal after a few days of high use. I've turned off the auto brightness and put it down to like 20% this has helped massively.

Gonna have to flash that official Nordic ROM :o knowing my luck they'll release the official UK one as soon as I do it.

I'm a tad worried about those issues people have had with losing their IMEI, does JB fix that?

Got mine yesterday and really impressed I have rooted it now too :) I have the following apps etc installed:
  • App Monster.
  • Mahjong.
  • Real Racing 3 (this game is awesome!).
  • Smart Volume Control.
  • WhatsApp.
  • AdAway (doesn't seem to work with stuff now so open to suggestions on this one).
  • ASTRO File Manager.
  • Natwest App.
  • Nova Launcher (need to play with this and maybe buy the full version).
That's it so far really.

EDIT - Oops posted in the wrong thread sorry it should have been in the S3 thread :(

2hrs + screen on time on this, rubbish signal and 2 hrs + of deezer.

Well I finally bit the bullet and flashed the Nordic ROM. They seem to have changed something with setting wallpapers in that you can't seem to resize the wallpaper image anymore? So before I could take an image that was a higher res than the screen and still set the whole image to be the wallpaper whereas now it will only let me choose a small portion of the image.

I recommend an app called QuickPic, it allowed me to set a wallpaper much better than the stock app. :)
