Pretty much hit the nail on the head for me.

If there had been and s20e and the price was roughly equivalent to last year's s10e price then I'd have probably upgraded.

I moved from Apple to Samsung to because the handsets were significantly cheaper but unless they have a rethink I'll likely look elsewhere for my next phone.

I too moved from Apple to Samsung for a similar reason and will happily jump ship again. It seems like there's a bunch of well-made phones with high refresh screens, decent cameras and modest prices going to hit the market soon. Maybe they'll not be as good as the Samsungs, but they'll offer 90%-95% of the experience at a much lower price.
 
They'll likely slash prices in a few months as a result.

Samsung can do one regarding their price gouging prices.
 
I've just seen a post over on reddit with screenshot chatting to Samsung support. It says you can only get the Galaxy's buds in white if you pre ordered,no other colour options. Something to bear in mind!

This is very clearly mentioned on the T&C's of the offer on the Samsung website and also in the Members app where you need to make the claim. Was exactly the same last year with the S10 series.

I hadn't seen it in the terms, first saw it earlier on reddit. Wonder why white though...

Apparently there's a red special edition for Asia, sounds good but I'd put it in a case anyway

I'm still sitting on the fence about upgrading. Have a few days to make my mind up. Assuming it'll be a massive leap from. The s7, just have to ask myself if I need it...
 
It's a shame eglobal aren't selling Samsung phones. I picked the up the Snapdragon s10e for £500 around release time. No it seems only wondamobile sell Samsung phones.
 
After going through all the reviews this weekend, I have cooled slightly and I think the ultra will be a transitionary purchase for me,. Buy it, cover it in a good case and see how the Xperia reviews come in in 3 months time as I like the sound of Alpha tech in a phone.
My bateery is absolutely on its last legs and the only other decent camera phone due now was the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro which is delayed, so the Galaxy will do for now until something better comes along..
 
Great comparison video here between S20+ and Ultra with the + supposed to have the camera update.

Quite happy I picked the plus tbh

I don't think Oneplus are going to get the pass they get every model for the Camera and lack of wireless charging/water proofing now though, When everyone else is in the screen game then that's not enough anymore.

They need to make big improvements to their cameras
