!!Have you got Origin Access @Cavallino ? you could always play the 10 demo/hour trial first before buying.
I quite enjoyed the SP story even though it was very linear and easy. On SP/arcade mode I seem to be able to just run through mass enemies and 1 shot headshot kill them all. But as soon as I go to MP I lose this ability and just spawn, run, miss, die repeat

Feel your pain mate. The difficulty spike going from single player to multi is crazy, especially if like me, you don't bother much with online shooters. The first few times I played the first Battlefront I was delighted if I even got a couple of kills - after putting some hours into it I was able to achieve mid table in the standings but my kill death ratio rarely got better than evens. The pattern of spawn, run, die does get really frustrating and why I don't care much for online shooters - I only played it because it was Star Wars.I quite enjoyed the SP story even though it was very linear and easy. Yep, you just have to stick with it. I'm not good at online FPS but once you grind up to level 10 and can start crafting star cards you'll start to improve. Remember to play the objectives and if you use the 'bounty hunter' card you get slightly more battle points. I play Starfighter Assault more than anything now as it's fun and I'm miles better at it, shame there's only a small number of maps though.

. I wasn't bad at BF1 online, seem to be much worse at this one. Starting to get the hang on of it. Anyone else find the droids hard to spot in MP? They are so skinny and brown, just seem to blend into everything. While clone troopers are bright white and can't hide anywhere.

They say hero crates as they are cheapest. You end up getting duplicates and you get at least 200 credits for those. Can also use them to unlock heroes if you want. I haven't unlocked any!

The most annoying issue is when you end up with a stupid team/side. Where half are wandering alone and the other half trying to do the mission.
Also is annoying when you get one shoted from someone 500m away in damn Hoth. Everything is white with white cammo for heaven sake.
Especially when they have someone with just a rifle sniping the spawn area!!!!
But I like playing as droid. Is fun and shame we cannot exclusively select maps and side to play only as droids on all MP games.

Bit the bullet and downloading now, I thought the beta was ok,was fun but not amazing to me, hope the full game turns out to be better and overall better than the other battlefront that was before this

It's showing as £29.69 for me on the Origin store 46% discount atm. If you have an Origin sub you get more of a discount !

Got it for christmas and have put in around 12 hours or so, campaign is very good. MP is excellent, i think i spent half a day on it and was in the top 5 90% of the time. Bad news is there seems to be some choppiness and i cant get rid of it, also is there a way to keep in 1P view when spawning in starfighter assault? Im running a gtx1080 with i7 2600 but 'only' have 8 gig of ram and wasnt sure whether id see a benefit to upgrading?

Well I seem to be getting a lot better at this.
Still playing it regularly with the specialist as my preferred role.
Racked up 20 kills in a map yesterday......for me this is a good thing.
Not sure if my new gsync 120hz monitor is helping?

Anyone getting crashes?
I have both a Dell Gsync and a non-gsync running off a GTX 1080. I game on the gsync and when I do I rarely have anything playing on the other monitor.
I find I will frequently get a crash to desk top or a black screen prompting a reset. Seems to be ok with just one monitor connected so far.....

I have my main 21:9 monitor for gaming and run a second screen into a Smart TV.
I haven't had any problems running the game with them both on. I have a 1080 latest drivers 388.71. My only problem is playing videos on 2nd screen they lose sync after a few mins which is really doing my head in.
