Standard sale BS sadly :(

Will keep an eye out for 1TB deals

Been playing the original GTA vice city, runs great on the deck at 90fps lol

Also working my way through the original doom. All this portable power and I am playing Doom :D
Cheers yes, I'm playing Celeste (had to use assist it's ridiculous hard) and devil may cry. For now I've ordered a 512GB SanDisk extreme it'll do for emulation I'm dying to get into. Until I get a decent 1TB from somewhere.

Isn't it easy enough to have cheaper SD storage and just file transfer across to the SSD if it's not streaming data quickly enough?

I bought this one for £74 and it seems to be doing the job.

It is easy to be fair.
Depends what size ssd you’re starting with really

This is what I do if I'm low on internal storage. Older games usually run fine from slower SD too.

Anyone recommend some decent side scrolling arcade shooters like r-type for the deck ?

There is a new version of project X coming out end of this year and believe there is a demo on steam. I am part of the Kickstarter and can't wait for it to come out!

I think there is Darius chronicles which seems to run perfectly on the SD

Sat in bed over the last few evenings whilst the wife was reading and smashed through the whole of what the golf! (Which is hilarious), played some carmageddon 2 (which runs perfectly!l and started bioshock remastered on the deck.

I love this thing! It's just so seamless in everything it does. Bioshock running at 90fps too is just the icing on the cake

I was unaware that project x was being remade just downloaded the demo and it’s just as good as I remember .

It's a great bit of kit, still loving mine. Playing through Cyberpunk again after buy the DLC

I agree 100%. I held off buying one for long enough, but I'm really glad I did. I work offshore and it's been awesome for unwinding at the end of the shift and I'm so impressed with the performance, it's amazing to see how far we've progressed with a hand held pumping out 90hz with OLED screen. It's not surprising that the battery is the weak point, but for my use case there's always a socket outlet nearby to plug into, so it's all good.
