** The Official WWDC 2012 Thread **

OK, will check le finances tomorrow but I can very much see myself buying the SSD and keeping hold of it for a couple of weeks :p

Dammit :(

\:D/

I don't think you'll regret it - I can almost smell the new iMacs and when they arrive you'll be surfing on a nice speedy SSD :p

Indeed. It will be nice :) - Although not many people dismantle an iMac within minutes of receiving it :p

Might order one for the MacBook :o

Phate, which SSD did you purchase?

The one currently on a deal at OcUK. The OCZ 240gb for £140...seriously good vfm.

As a general rule I don't buy from OcUK anymore (too many bad experiences) but a one off in this instance won't hurt. :)

They have come down in price since launch....

Great value

Indeed, I've been seen people buying them since release and even when they were only just £1 per 1GB and still refused to.

But it's fantastic value for money and I've had a crappy couple of weeks so some retail therapy was needed.

I like a bit of retail therapy myself! Good for the soul....

Apple just posted the 2012 Worldwide Developers Conference schedule with developer events and lab times.*This year’s keynote presentation is scheduled for 10 a.m. PST on Monday, June 11.*For those attending, Apple also*posted an app*to make scheduling easier.

At first I got all excited thinking they've released a WWDC app so we can all watch it live streamed... Unfortunately, it's an app for attendees only, with a complete schedule of what to expect during the week.

Our friend, Guilherme Schasiepen, took our*description of the new MacBook Pros*and (using a bunch of creative liberties) mocked them up.

Some beautiful mock ups of the suspected MacBook Pro update :)

BGR*just posted a few images of Apple’s iOS 6 Maps app with 3D mapping that*9to5Mac*first revealed earlier this month.

Their “trusted source” released these screenshots, which give subsequent validity to the claims that Apple has worked on an in-house mapping solution for years now. Apple is reportedly testing its 3D*technology in build 10A314*of iOS 6.*The renderings are largely*accurate, from what we heard, but*the bookmarks icon does not show the border that we saw. Also, the 3D icon only exists on the iPad version (it is actually below the curl on the iPhone, because it is too easy to accidentally press.) We hope to have our own screenshots shortly.

And finally a look at the new Maps app for iOS 6! The 3D is looking very nice... Not sure why I would need it but I guess it's nice to have... What are your thoughts?

So from the schedule I've seen there wasn't any word on hardware at all. So unless the sneak it under "new laptops will be coming with Mountain Lion on them" I'm not sure if there will be any mac announcements at WWDC.

Cool day of my last exam so can have a good look sensibly drunk...

Better be some hardware updates though! Want a mini that's a bit faster...

You really think they would leak a new product through a schedule? :p
