If so can you tell me if it turns off with the console as mine stays spinning when powered off.

Fully off PSU light orange. I can still hear and feel the drive spinning. The X0 must keep the USB ports powered even when off ?

I just asked over @ avforums about this and a guy said the 4tb Seagate he has shuts down completely but his is mains powered

He seems to think that USB powered HDD should too but if you say yours doesn't

not at all as MS will continue to develop for it. The voice commands alone are worth having the kinnect.

When it works. I struggle to get it to work half the time, constantly shouting at it. It's pretty useless now IMO.

If you didn't get a play and charge kit tnen no you didn't get one with the xbox but any micro usb cable will work.

The cable i use came with the play and charge kit you can buy them for a few £ anyway

I presume without kinect that wouldn't auto sign you in. Now it does.

That no longer works. You have to rub your willy on the small X to turn on your console. Ne careful though because if you miss the X you will get an electric shock.
