Has anyone actually tried clean installing from the burnt DVD or USB stick, yet? (Using the method mentioned in this thread to create the DVD/USB media)?

Two finger swipe has replaced three for back and forward. I'm really disappointed by the lack of options for Mission Control and Exposé and that Spaces has completely disappeared.

sorted now got to turn off "swipe between full screen apps...."

which appears to mean you lose that feature all together, why could that not have made swipe between screens 3 fingers instead...

There seems to be a lot less choice in customising what gestures do what compared to in Snow Leopard. I'm now also getting this suggestions as I type in words stuff. Need to figure out where to turn that off! It also corrects typos automatically, which is kind of freaky.

it seems a complete step backwards, should have left all the old gestures and added two and three finger double tap to get into stuff and must say are missing spaces also.

Yup.

Works fine.

Just don't expect everything to come across from SL straight off. Part of the upgrade must involve some stuff to convert preferences over etc.

Mail and iChat needed some work, etc.

Some stuff I've found.

To get back to 3 finger backward/forward in finder and other apps, change 'Swipe between pages to 2 or 3 fingers'

The dragging option that was there in SL, is now under Universal Access in Trackpad.

It's mainly frustrating as well, because looking at Mission Control, it looks like it should be a pinboard where I can drag applications/desktops around, but I can't do that.

This Safari auto type thing is really annoying me now - it's deleting words I want kept as they are (trying to change pinboard for inboard etc.).

ok hate with vengeance the new mail until i found the classic setting, but the buttons are fugly, I'm not sure about mission control and launch pad, just seem like a gimmick and nothing else, the new dashboard is carp, when I use the calculator it was handy to be able to see my desktop, now its just fail

To get rid of the Safari autospell it's Edit->Spelling and Grammar>Correct Spelling Automatically

Ok if im honest: an acceptable buy for 20 gbp.

however not more then 20 pounds, why?

odd good improvmnt and i feel its faster BUT

no real changes bar cosmetically and half of it feels taken from iOS or other OS.

Some changes like mail, have damanged a program that did not need changing.

see what u think.

(ps i did an clean install from dvd)
