We’ve already got a union (https://www.swunion.co.uk/) and DMCA’s are cheaper than ever and work on the big platforms to a degree. I’ve had content I was in but didn’t own get removed by the owner on Reddit and in minutes of us finding it.

Pornhub and the other equivalent tube sites all got bought by Aylo who cracked down on the child porn and in doing so meant it became heavily restricted on who could upload what.

Things have gotten dramatically better since 2 years ago but still need improving. I think having a legal responsibility for what you are hosting, so if you host child porn, you are guilty of distributing it, would be effective, if you can show they were negligent in not just not responding to it being hosted, but in allowing it to be uploaded in the first place. From there, you can demonstrate that copyrighted content is the same legal responsibility which opens them up to civil suits. Legal and tech minds who know more than me need to sort the ins and outs of that though.
 
Last year was financially a struggle, new baby on the way and the need for a loan to extend our house in order to have space for her.... me and my wife had a serious conversation of "you'd hit a niche with a pregnant body on onlyfans...." it was genuinely tempting.... Made it through that patch without doing it in the end, but we took a lot of, err.... content.... just in case...

When the thought of "easy" money comes along like that, i can certainly see why so many girls with attractive bodies and no ties will do it. Especially when faced with the prospect of uni fees, high house prices/rent etc.

This came at a shock to me and completely changes the way I view the whole thing.

Sexless marriages? Too expensive to divorce, too risky to cheat so getting into a parasocial relationship with an onlyfans sex worker is the most "convenient" option?

EDIT: Sample size was very small only 335 but still...

One problem I see with OF and similar platforms is that it very much reinforces the grifter / gig-economy mindset. It makes me wonder what these creators will do once punters start losing interest and the money hose stops?

I thought about this with a lot of Youtuber's that I follow become boring after a couple of years and you stop watching.

I had a major clear out recently and some people with 300+k subscribers were barely getting 5 figure views on some videos.

If that's all you have been doing all your life what do you do after?

AI will have taken most jobs by then and we'll be on universal income, they'll be fine.

Probably more of them tbh.
 
My mate dated an OF model for like 2 years... I couldn't get my head around it and one day I asked him why and his response... "What 40 year old man wouldn't? She is young, fit and has a banging pair" - Clearly a man with his priorities right :cry:

That told me. The stories I heard out of her were unreal! But aye each to their own... Not gonna lie it was the line of work that lead to them breaking up.

Spending money on spending time with her is far more sensible and rewarding than spending time just watching her on a screen.

Seems like a wise friend.
