The rise of OnlyFans

Spending money on spending time with her is far more sensible and rewarding than spending time just watching her on a screen.

Seems like a wise friend.

I dunno about wise, she was 15 years his junior and she moved in with him after about 6 months. Mind you it all ended on good terms etc... At the end of it she didnt want to stop and he couldn't see a future in it. In his eyes it was only a matter of time before it became more of a problem in the relationship. Did make for some interesting conversations though... I mean she wasn't a stupid girl, she just knew that she could take money off of desperate men.

Ill take somebody like my Mrs every time... 20 years and she is still hanging about for some reason  She also has a job you can actually tell people about... You should have seen my face when my mates ex told me what she did, at that time I didn't even know what OF was.

Relationships that end on good terms, I don't regret any of mine that ended like that.

Even though they ended, they were worth it.

I thought about this with a lot of Youtuber's that I follow become boring after a couple of years and you stop watching.

I had a major clear out recently and some people with 300+k subscribers were barely getting 5 figure views on some videos.

If that's all you have been doing all your life what do you do after?

You have to reinvent yourself I guess?
Perhaps OF girls can strategize with their delivery model, gradually introducing higher level stuff. Ya know... Like waiting till year 5 for the chocolate chimney.

I had a long distance relationship and whenever I wasn't with her we would skype almost 24/7

Kinda rewarding in it's own way, if people paying these woman are fooling themselves into some illusion that they are part of these womans lives it probably seems rewarding to them.
I'm guessing it's mostly sad and pathetic men who these women wouldn't give the time of day to, I bet they would even refer to them as creepy

Any sane person knows the internet is full of material, the majority of it free and a much higher production quality.

Wealthy people don't need pof they can just pay people to entertain them in the real world, I bet OF is 95% poor people and a few control freaks with money

A big problem on the Internet is something called a para-social relationship, were the viewer thinks they are closer to the person on screen than they are.

It's why streamers/youtubers get stalkers. It's why they are still giving donations to literal millionaires, or why they are paying women.

I know from being a moderator in sex chat rooms on irc for many years that men who act like that with women have no chance of anything else. You're a punter or a "John".

The moment you simp is the moment you stop any chance of a meaningful connection.

The simp guys are in the massage parlours too. A friend bought this working girl flowers, and when we next saw her in town she said she was hiding from the guy. It is a turnoff. So if a woman is still taking your money then she feels sorry for you.. or shes just greedy!

My mate dated an OF model for like 2 years... I couldn't get my head around it and one day I asked him why and his response... "What 40 year old man wouldn't? She is young, fit and has a banging pair" - Clearly a man with his priorities right

That told me. The stories I heard out of her were unreal! But aye each to their own... Not gonna lie it was the line of work that lead to them breaking up.

Fun for a short time, not for a long time :)

Who is going to say no to free money with very little or zero consequences!?!! :D

Any self respecting bloke would be the same, fine for a couple rounds, but they aren't wife material, and many of these OF "models" don't understand why. I'd say the consequences are pretty significant though for a young women.

Social media is still new and we are not that far to see the consequences of women's digital foot print. But we will see in the next 10 to 15 years. Their T's and A's is out there for abit of fast money then wonder why society doesn't take them seriously later in life.

OnlyFans is just the acceptable face of sex work. I don't know what changed but suddenly it was completely OK to say you do only fans. Whats astonishing is how very average women make a good amount of money on OF. The sort of women that you would think "shes nice enough" but you could find thousands of more attractive ladies online who do far worse for free.

The problem will come when these people either get a bit older and age out of being attractive or they simply realise that its not really conducive to a normal family life and many people want that. Same reason pursuing any career path that relied on age or beauty but has almost zero transferrable skills.

There's already been a few instances where the consequences are starting to build up. School kids finding out that someone's mother did porn, I even read about a couple that were into cuckolding on video sites whose son and his friends found out and that really didn't go down well. Then there's people who have been let go from teaching jobs after they were found to be ex porn "actors" etc. It's only going to get worse.

There's more than just personal consequences to consider with this sort of thing, and I do feel that many are quite short sighted in that regard.

Even the ugliest woman can make good amount of money on there if they have youth on their side. But that has a short shelf life.
the internets all filters, blurred faces, blurred bodies.

It actually makes me wonder how younger generations see the world..

They can tell cat fishing when they see it?

You see celebs all the time that look nothing like they do in filtered photos... people literally looking 50 years older than they do in pics, kate moss etc

The video software youtubers/twitch streamers etc use all seem to change the eye shapes, change the shape of peoples faces etc, some of it's really subtle but you can clearly tell it's not right.

It's basically AI porn with a person in a motion capture suit surely
