I'm not against the act of selling used underwear.
I'm against someone having to do it, not by choice, through financial desperation.
If I was closer to the person I mentioned initially I would try and help them.
I think we're coming from a similar position. I agree that as long as someone is not harming others, and it is a free choice they are making then go for it. I'm just against people being taken advantage of, either by other people or feeling they have no choice but to do things they wouldn't normally do.

Not quite. There are, or at least used to be, used pants vending machines in Japan. This started before OF.
Not kept up with the underwear vending situation though so not sure they're still going strong.
Those vending machines was a very limited marketing campaign of a porn company in Japan that went viral in the West. They were never used, they came out of the factory to look used.
