Hmm just read about Benitez wanting to sign Benayoun. Also it seems Cisse has made the french squad so a few goals in the tournament and it will hopefully raise his price should he choose to sell him.

Just heard Garcia to go to Athletico Madrid plus cash for Torres.

Bit gutted about that to be honest. Really liked Garcia, he was frustrating at times but could change a game in a flash.

Source? Thats a shame if its true, garcia has scored goals when we needed them, torres cant guarentee that so its a gamble if true.

I too like garcia, but he is sometmes wastefull. Defoe and SWP would be fantasstic if true, not 100% sure on torres but he is quality! And benyoun was fantastic in the final!

We can't let Garcia go, he's one of our only players who scores goals regularly and we need to keep our right wingers. If he is on his way then i think it would take someone special to fill his place and i hope its SWP.

Raffa said live on air last week that he was keeping Garcia for at least another season.

This would make me very happy because apparently Ferguson wasn't too impressed with Diarra when he watched him playing last week. He could have avoided a lot of hassle by watching Djemba X2, Kleberson and Liam Miller playing before buying them as well.

I still want Gattuso though. Get them both I say.

I think if Ferguson has his heart set on getting him to Old Trafford, we'll make West Ham an offer they can't refuse, like the full amount up front, no stupid 4 yr deals sending them part of the money every year. I think West Ham would find that too tempting especially with the whole summer still available to buy in players.

Bet if you offered to not make them take Fletcher, they'd take you up on that - maybe even drop the asking price
