Bet if you offered to not make them take Fletcher, they'd take you up on that - maybe even drop the asking price :p

hehe, very true, Fletcher cannot even be given away for free. :p How are Man Utd supposed to get rid of him.... *ponders a team without him :D

where's Crespo gonna go??

I'd like us to buy RVN :D

I wonder if Alonso will go back home too (to Real)? Harry's being touted for Valencia too though he says he doesn't want to go. If Garcia and Alonso go, that's two new shirts me and the OH need this season!!
Not a chance in hell that you would sell Alonso!

Cole to **** off to Spain,
Lots of murmuring about Robert O'Carlos & JM getting it on at the moment for some reason so there could be a space available for Cole.

What on earth would Chelsea want with that show pony? Past his best, fat and crap. Still think Cole will **** off, no matter what he claims in the press.

Fergie Has Money To Spend, Says Glazers
Sir Alex Ferguson will be given the money he needs to turn Manchester United back into a trophy-winning force, according to the Glazer Family, who own the club.

United have been linked with players such as Mahamadou Diarra and Juan Roman Riquelme will have to spend big if they are to close the gap between themselves and Chelsea, but it seems Ferguson will be given the chance to do so.

"If Sir Alex Ferguson really wants a certain player then the Glazers would be willing to push whatever button required to get that player," a spokesman for the Americans told The Manchester Evening News.

Following the Glazer's takeover the club fell into debt, but this apparently won't affect Fergie's transfer kitty.

"The debt has no bearing on expenditure," said the spokesman. "The money available for the transfer budget comes out of cash flow from the club. There is cash around and a portion of that can go towards transfer fees.

"Of course the only way to demonstrate that to the fans is by spending money during the summer for the players the manager identifies. We will have to wait and see what happens on that."

Well Morientes didn't make the Spanish squad (a little surprised as he has a pretty good scoring record for them) he wants showdown talks with Benitez over his future.

A little thread resurrection.

Reading the mirror this morning it seems Liverpool are going to let kromkamp go to raise money for alves. Still open to offers for kewell and supposedly Bent is top of our list for strikers with bellamy 2nd and defoe third.

Also supposedly everton have offered £7m for johnson

Alves is quality on FM2006 and Benitez is apparently after him. I would expect liverpool to sign 1 of either Dani Alves, Simao or Joaquin

Same story from the BBC but the source is still The Sun.

Wouldn't be particularly sorry to see him leave English football.

"It's not a joke. I want to move on and avoid all the pressure and scandals here," he told The Sun.

"Those things hurt my feelings. I want a place I can play freely without any drawbacks.

"somtimes I dive, sometimes I stand"
"Yes, it was handball, but that's part of the game,"

lol...
