The Rumour Mill, who do you want/think your club will sign/sell this summer

I think this Kuyt business is possibly the club or the agent trying to generate interest to start a possible bidding war. Wasn't he linked with a fair few clubs last summer?

Spurs and Liverpool were genuinely linked with him last season and i wouldnt be suprised if we were trying again this season, seems we've made a substantial bid.

The Premiership's biggest clubs have been put on red alert after the president of FC Shakhtar, Rinat Akhmetov, declared midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk is up for sale.

"We are now open for negotiations about Tymoshchuk," Akhmetov told profootball.com.ua, "because we have got enough Ukrainians in the squad.

"We haven't sold him before because of the limit on foreigners. Now the situation has changed. I can't name a price for this player, because this is the obligation for the clubs which are interested in him."

FC Shakhtar captain Tymoshchuk is regarded as one of Europe's most accomplished defensive midfielders and has been watched by Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool over the last 18 months.

Tymoshchuk, preparing for a big World Cup with Ukraine next month, said: "It is my dream to play for a top club in Europe, but now I'm concentrating on my preparation for the World Cup.

"I've done a lot for Shakhtar and now I'm ready to take a part of Shakhtar to Europe. I have been with Shakhtar since 1998 and I think it's time to change championships."
 
i dont think owen will move from newcastle, unless it was to liverpool, but liverpool didnt want him last season and i think the stumbling block could be his fee (12m) especially when liverpool only sold him for (8m i think). Rafa wont sign him!

But it looks like they will sign Carlton Cole from Chelski for £2m

Reckon Curtis will go for about £6m ish. Why on earth they want Cole, he wasn't good enough for Villa. :confused:
 
The only reason i can see they would want Cole is if Mido's on his way, and remember Defoe's off as well

Cole didnt actually look that bad a played when he was on loan at Wolves

But whenever ive seen him since he looks pish
 
Aliadadadaadadairare looked ok at Wolves so thats not saying a lot as he couldn't cut it at West Ham. I expect Mido's either back to Roma or off elsewhere, his loan must be over now?
