A lot of people have mentioned a lot of Newcastle players to leave, but to be honest I can't see many of them going.
Bramble will stay as he's been playing resonably well with Moore, and every coach who manages him will always think "If only I can get him to cut out the errors I'll have a great player on my hands here....."
Boumsong has apparently had talks with several Italian clubs after being told, in no uncertain terms that he has no future at the club.
Babayaro? Who's going to buy him and pay his ridiculous wages? He's on about 50k or more a week and no one in their right mind would give him that. Our only hope is that Souness gets back into management sooner rather then later.
Unfortunately I can see Milner going to Villa, which is a pity because I think he'd do well under Roeder. A lot depends upon Villa raising the cash and O'Dreary still being there in the summer.
I think Owen will stay for another year. Not sure why.
Chopra, off to the First division and will eventually end up at Blyth or Carlisle, a promising career ruined because he wasn't given the chance early enough.
Ameobi, will stay at St James', probably working a gate or selling programmes.
Carr will also stay. No other premiership side will be in for him.
Not sure about Bowyer, his out was going to be Charlton, but since they are getting a new manager then all bets are off there. I like Bowyer as a player, he can add a bit of fire to a midfield.
I am worried about Emre. I really think that he's going to do a runner or just spend the next season sulking on the treatment table with Luque. I reckon Luque will stay as well. I know Roeder doesn't rate him, but I don't think he'll be given the option to sell him at a massive loss. I really hope Luque comes good because he looked fantastic in Spain.
As for players in, with Roeder at the helm I can't see us getting any big names like that ditch feller whose name I can never spell. Begins with K an you all know who he is.
Roeder is however, making all the right noises about properly researching signings and ensuring they can adapt to life in England, the North-East, and the EPL rather than just using Champ Man as a scouting tool. That's another reason why I don't think we'll see any big movements, Roeder is going to take his time about picking the right players. Whether they will be good enough remains to be seen.
Instead I reckon Roeder will bood more and more players from the youth teams like Matty Pattison and Alan O'Brien. That might not be a bad thing, but I don't think you'll win anything with kids......
