catbeef said:what kind of temps should i be expecting on my toledo under stock cooling, at each stage of clocking?
eg.. 2.1ghz = 45c, 2.2ghz = ??c, 2.3ghz = ??c.. something like that. thanks!

w3bbo said:Why would you put 1.7v through your cpu for stock speeds
Run the cpu at stock mhz/stock volts, note the load temp then increase the volts/stock mhz - the temp will increase. Both mhz and vcore increase obviously have an effect on heat but I normally find that volts make the bigger increase - but then with voltage increase comes mhz increase (why else increase the volts ) so I guess its hard to tell....bah.

i can get mine Prime stabe at
3800+ X2 AM2
2.6ghz
260mhz
10x
HT stuff is at 3x
mobo is the one in my sig and stuff
got an queston tho soon as i stop prime 95 on both cores my cpu temps drop by 10c instantly makeing me think that my temp on the cpu is not 61-62c (hmm intresting soon as i unticked the Q-fan option inside of AI booster it droped the CPU temp to 51c?)
problem is my pc will not boot all i get is an ram beed error (unless asus have changed the beep codes long beep folowed by 2-3 sort ones) once reset button is pressed give that failed overclock msg but if i use the AI booster to step up the cpu speed its stable but reporting hot under prime 95
just so i am not filling this thread up on how to OC an pc has any one got an linky on overclocking an asus AM2 mobo {in sig}
