I use the 3.5ml vivi novas. I like them because they're easy to rewick so I don't have to buy replacement heads. I do get occasional wicking issues with them, but I just make a new wick. Problem solved! Vaping is now virtually cost free since I stocked up on mixing supplies.
Atomiser and liquid to put in it. Those look like 18350 batteries in the kit, which means you'd be using it in mini mode unless you bought some larger 18650 batts, but it would be fine for a days use regardless.
Perfect mate. Keep in mind that the flavour takes a while to mature. Just after mixing it might taste either a) rank and chemically or b) perfect, and then by the end of the week the flavour will be extremely strong if you mixed too much in. It's a bit of trial and error at first, but as long as your Nic content is right then you cant go far wrong. When you mix large batches it's worth keeping the steeping effect in mind as the flavour will increase over the course of a week or so.
50/50 is a good starting point. If it's too harsh, more VG(or less Nic), if it's too thick to wick well, more pg.
I did think about that, I'm putting that stuff (except my vamo, a spare 18350 batt and some juice) in the hold, and it worries me that I won't be there to explain it if they want to question it. I would label it if that didn't make it look even more suspicious!
I'd try cranking up the wattage to stop it flooding. The only problems I get are wicking issues.
After a quick thread on UKV the consensus is that batteries have to come onboard as carry on, but if I have loads of juice then just bring a small bottle and the rest in the hold. Mods go in the tray so your bag doesn't get put in the search queue. Jobs a good'un apparently.
I may be wrong but doesnt the nic content mean that if u vaping 18mg, that is 18mg per 1 ml?
an average fag/rolly has around 0.9-1.3mg of nic.
so using an easy number of 1mg, there is equivalent to 18 fags to 1ml of juice
if you are chain vaping from boredom, try a lower nic base.
i go through an average of 3ml per day using 11mg mic base, so that is the same as 33 fags, but at least its healthier lol
The 1mg quoted for a fag is what your body absorbs, whereas the 18mg in 1ml of liquid is the actual content, so there is quite a gap.
3ml a day is about average, maybe on the high end of average. I go through 2-3ml a day myself. Some atties are thirstier than others too.
Everyone goes through different devices before finding one that suits them. I started off years ago with a terrible intellicig that was just abysmal. I would consider the better devices out there if I were you. They can be much cheaper in the long run and provide a much more satisfying experience. If you're happy with e lites then crack on, but there are much better things out there if you change your mind and want to upgrade.
I spilled a whole tank of 12mg over my hands the other day, and I've regularly gotten it on myself while mixing. I just make sure to quickly wash it off and I've never felt like I received a big dose of Nic or anything. Just use common sense and wash your hands if you get it on you. Saying that, I even steer clear of the 75mg stuff tbh just because I don't want to get the maths wrong if I'm not thinking straight one day lol.
If you measure between the bottom pin and the side of the head you should get the resistance of the coil (eg 1.8 or 2.8ohms). If you get an open circuit then the coil is knackered. If the resistance is super low then you have a short somewhere. I still think that isn't the issue, but no harm in checking.
Anyone know where I can buy some liquid near Bath? I'm worried the 40ml I brought with me isn't going to last the whole week in Rome (I fly out tomorrow and have been visiting family for the last few days so can't mix any more up).
There's always new stuff coming out, so it's like buying a graphics card when a new one could be coming out every month. You just have to try a couple atties until you have an idea of what you want from one, then work towards that. Rebuilding atties is really handy though.
