Can someone post a screenshot with an arrow indentifying the "adrenaline bar"

Thanks :)

It appears top left under the health bar, won't appear until you unlock the ability though.
I don't like how you can "roll" the dice so they fly out the board and you lose that dice, but if the computer does it, they get the "lost" dice back for their second roll, but you don't.

I've had that happen and the A.I didn't get the dice back.

I got so fed up of it happening to me that I just drop them now

Also, the adrenaline bar only appears during combat.

I couldn't be bothered with the dice game in the end tbh. It is a game of complete luck, but as you go through the opponents, they become harder to beat! it doesn't make sense to me.

I think my dice game was broken, oponents became very easy as I went along. The last 3 main opponents in the game all conceded after the first roll of the dice, I would have won some nice stuff if the reward bug wasnt there.

I didn't find any of them harder than any other, same with the fights and the arm wrestling. Don't think much thought went into the minigames.

Agreed, the buttom combinations should either get faster or require more hits in the sequence as the fights get harder.

For the arm wrestling the icon should get smaller faster and the scroll speed should increase as the fights get harder.

Same.

In fact I had a match where the AI threw 2 dice off of the table and we still drew with three 5s.

This happened to me also - what do you win if they don't concede?

Bah! I wanna know whose brilliant idea it was not to allow saving during the Selkirk (or whatever his name was) possession...got to the draug, got my ass kicked and had to restart slashing annoying enemies as Selkirk...

I just finished the game a few moments ago, and like some of the others here I'm a little disapointed with the ending, and I also wish I created a safe save at the start of chapter 3 so that I can go through the choices of chapter 3 again (in chapter 3 you get given lots of mutualy exclusive choices, save person A, or save person B. Let person C live or kill him/her etc...). I will proberly play through the game again at some point, playing a pure mage with a little alchemy on hard, and this time siding with Roche, although chapter 3 will still end up with me replaying that chapter several times just to see what happens if I let different people live/die.

As a mostly pure swordmanship witcher (with a few points in magic for quen III and tri-hit quen) I found the game got very easy in mid-late chapter 2 onwards, where I started to get some powerful weapons and with a longer lasting, more powerful, quen I could stay alive a LOT easier.

Also, I'm not sure if i missed it, but where can you get dragon scales? in chapter 3 I got the diagram of an amazing silver sword but one of the ingrediants (along with a ton of silver, iron and a few other common things) was dragon scales or skin or something, and to my knowledge I didn't fight a dragon up to that point, and the dragon near the end of the game you don't get items from and its too late to matter anyway.

There is a way of getting it at the end of the Mystic River quest.

I guess I missed it then. The quest showed as complete for me when I opened a chest in the sewers that gave me some armour and armour upgrades, which when combined with some studed leather and cloth it gives some amazing armour. I thought that would be the end of the mystic river quest as it was complete and already gave me a great set of armour.

Nothing as far as I know. Just every dice player (mainly the dwarf at the end of chapter 2 of roches side of the story) that promised me a reward, I would recieve nothing and couldnt replay for it (a commonish bug according to the forums). Easy wins and i win sod all from it.

Anyone find the amount of ploughing disappointing, going the roach path in my first playthrough, I've nailed Triss, and then Ves, and thats it!
Good grief, how inadequate the witcher has become as he regained his memory, by the DLCs and witcher 3 he'll sit in the corner fapping over missing Yennefer and crying on Dandilions shoulder.

Just a quick note for anyone thinking of going the alchemy line. I was reading up on the different adrenaline abilities and although the info isn't all that specific in places the alchemy adrenaline ability may sound good (go into a berserk mode) it requires the toxins from potions to power itself, which means that although an alchemist will be using powerful points most of the time to survive/do damage, there will be boss fights and times where you won't have any toxicity to power the berserker mode and so won't even be able to use it.

If anyone here already has the alchemy adrenaline mode let me know how its working out, and to anyone planning what witcher spec to go make sure you read up on adrenaline abilities before going too far into one of the lines.
