The Witcher 2 - Thread

^

Anything PCGamer writes should be 100% ignored. I'm not disputing that I think this is going to be an incredible game, but PCGamer+throwback go hand in hand.

I didnt read a word of it actually, I just looked at the screenshots and thought 'OMGOMGOMG WOW AWESOME! WANT!' :D

I also liked what the games devs said in their quote in post 156. Legendary comment from a game dev.

These have got to be some of the best and most realistic textures I've seen in a game!

Absolutely stunning looking game. Im a bit gutted that I go away in april for 3 months.

Nevermind I know where Ill be spending my money when I get back. Top end PC in order!

Just been playing the Enhanced Edition and loving it so far. The last RPG i played was Mass Effect 2 and this destroys ME2 by a big margin. My 4870 is fine for almost all the areas with no AA except the Trade Quarter where it dips down to the 30fps range. You dont even need AA in most parts because the image quality is very good.

I just love the story, the presentation and the feel of the game. So much to do and the combat is simple but good.

Really looking forward to the Witcher 2, hopefully should have upgraded to 6950 by then. Although May is quite close to my GCSE exams... :(

The lighting looks absolutely phenomenal. From the looks of the video above, they seem to have taken everything and just made it better. The combat looks like the enemy can actually feel your sword hitting them and the Signs seem a lot more prevalent.
